Project Overview

TGS provided post-design geotechnical engineering, Construction Materials Testing (CMT), and Threshold Inspection services for the Mayla Cypress Creek mixed-use development in Cypress Creek, Florida. The project consists of a seven-story residential building over retail space connected to a seven-story precast parking garage, supporting high-density urban development through integrated engineering, testing, and structural oversight services.

Project Scope

The development includes a mixed-use residential and retail structure supported by shallow foundations following ground improvement through vibro-compaction. Structural systems include masonry walls, concrete columns, and elevated concrete floor systems designed to support vertical mixed-use development and long-term structural performance.


Site improvements included utility installation and backfill, sidewalks, and entry features supporting the overall development. Thomas Geo provided integrated geotechnical, materials testing, and structural inspection services throughout design support and construction, including verification of ground improvement performance and oversight of key structural systems.

The Village at East Ocean – North Parcel Development

Project Overview

TGS provided post-design geotechnical engineering, Construction Materials Testing (CMT), and Threshold Inspection services for The Village at East Ocean – North Parcel, a high-density mixed-use development in Boynton Beach, Florida. The project consists of an eight-story residential and retail tower connected to a seven-story structured parking garage, supporting continued urban growth within the downtown corridor.


The structure is supported by shallow foundations following ground improvement through vibro-compaction, incorporating slab-on-grade construction, CMU walls, elevated concrete slabs, and roof slab systems designed to support long-term structural performance.

Project Scope

Project Overview

TGS provided post-design geotechnical engineering and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) services for the Sevilla at Downtown Doral development in Doral, Florida. The project consists of a high-density mixed-use residential community featuring two seven-story residential buildings connected by a seven-story parking garage with ground-floor retail storefronts, supporting urban residential growth within Downtown Doral.

Project Scope

The development includes two mid-rise residential structures supported by shallow foundation systems following ground improvement, with slab-on-grade construction, CMU walls, elevated reinforced concrete slabs, and roof slab systems.
